Seeing same behavior on two machines. One is a complete new reinstall to 12.04 (was 11.04 before) using PS/2 mouse (through a PS/2 KVM) The other system is an upgrade from 11.10, and is using a USB mouse. Mouse simply freezes for 1-3 seconds once in a while (every 10-15 minutes on first machine, and on longer more random intervals on second machine). Before Ubuntu 12.04 x64 both machines worked flawlessly with older versions of Ubuntu (also x64).
