Excuse my previous report, my wireless card is a AR9287. I see many reports of freezes with this model, even in FREEBSD, googling to find a fix desperately.
The other machine where I was reporting from that never freezes has a AR9227, and it is a 32 bit system. As many say it is obvious some people are talking about a total freeze and some others reporting a graphics problem. In my freeze, not the 295.49 drivers not previous kernel versions not another distro (linux mint 12, debian stable) has solved it.
