Public bug reported:

When using unity, the "Terminal" windows will get clipped halfway down
the screen (essentially gets cut off where the sidebar ends) See
attached screen shot. Also various parts of apps get clipped when
dragged around. (problem with backing store

May be related to a corruption problem using gnome-shell as well where
certain letters throughout the whole UI are not showing (font server /
Xorg issue with this GForce card driver?)
