Thanks Agoston. I may try that in the future if need be, but I recently tried suspending, apparently the only form of sleep available now (previous versions allowed two forms), and to my surprise it worked on Precise (testing). I haven't tried it since Precise has gone stable, though. The transition was a little slow and noisy, but I'm not complaining.
I will have to try it again, and if it works on Precise stable I'll change the status to fixed, since it's my bug report. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-ati in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/875375 Title: Resume fails after suspend/hibernate --post Oneiric upgrade To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hibernated/+bug/875375/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
