Created liveUSB of Xubuntu Jaunty Alpha 4 and it started up with no
errors. However, once X and the DE were fully loaded, the mouse and
keyboard did not work at all - literally just stuck looking at the
dekstop.
Using Dell Mini 9 - this is the first time I've come across this
problem. I've used Slitaz, Puppy, DSL, Fedora, Ubuntu (Ibex), Xubuntu
(Ibex), Crunchbang Linux, and FreeBSD on the Mini and the keyboard and
touchpad have always been autodetected.
