Yes, this is a hotkey issue, not really a video driver bug. See
http://wiki.ubuntu.com/Hotkeys for directions on troubleshooting these
kinds of problems. Meanwhile I'll bump this over to the kernel.
If you've had a chance to retest with newer Ubuntu and find it no longer
occurs, please report back here about that.
