Public bug reported: After installing the Alpha1 candidate for Precise and doing some ad-hoc testing for a while, the touchpad on my Samsung N310 stops working. Plugging in a USB mouse allows me to use a pointing device but the touchpad is dead.
I have seen this problem before and the touchpad only ever does this on first boot, so I'll update the bug if that's the case again or it keeps happening. ** Affects: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-synaptics in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/897623 Title: Touchpad stops working on Samsung N310 shortly after first boot of Precise Alpha1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input-synaptics/+bug/897623/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
