*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 828684 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/828684
I think this bug is not the same as the "false GPU" bug. My machine hangs every time going into suspend. I initially reported this bug on oneiric testing. Once Oneiric became stable, I reformatted and reinstalled, to make sure I was not carrying forward some messed up configuration, but I have continued to experience this problem every time the machine attempts to suspend to RAM. Maybe I will attempt to revert to pre 11.10 to verify that my hardware has not failed ( specially as nobody else seems to be experiencing this problem). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/846489 Title: [i915gm] False GPU lockup EIR: 0x00000010 PGTBL_ER: 0x00000100 render.IPEHR: 0x01000000 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/846489/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
