Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati
When using the "radeon" driver I get a blank screen with no cursor and unresponsive keyboard, if and only if fglrx is also installed. I believe this may be caused because the "fglrxdrm" sub module is still loaded, if present, even when using the radeon driver. Removing the fglrx packages fixes this problem. I suggest that either xserver-xorg-video-ati should conflict with fglrx, or the sub module should somehow be prevented from loading.
