** Description changed: A fairly recent Lucid update (~3 weeks ago?) inadvertently removed the 10-wacom.conf at /usr/lib/X11/xorg.conf.d on at least some systems. This has the effect of "breaking" a Wacom tablet or tablet PC unless an xorg.conf is being used. Current "fix" is to manually add a 10-wacom.conf. - This affects xf86-input-wacom 0.10.5 in the xserver-xorg-input-wacom - package. + This affects xf86-input-wacom 0.10.5 in the xserver-xorg-input-wacom package. + --- + Architecture: amd64 + DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 + InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release amd64 (20100816.1) + MachineType: Hewlett-Packard p6520y + NonfreeKernelModules: fglrx + Package: xf86-input-wacom (not installed) + ProcCmdLine: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.32-34-generic root=UUID=532be083-87a0-40a2-a868-2fe1bb58aed5 ro quiet splash + ProcEnviron: + LANGUAGE=en_US:en + PATH=(custom, user) + LANG=en_US.UTF-8 + SHELL=/bin/bash + ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-34.77-generic 2.6.32.44+drm33.19 + Tags: lucid lucid + Uname: Linux 2.6.32-34-generic x86_64 + UserGroups: adm admin cdrom dialout lpadmin plugdev sambashare + dmi.bios.date: 07/02/2010 + dmi.bios.vendor: American Megatrends Inc. + dmi.bios.version: 6.05 + dmi.board.name: 2A92 + dmi.board.vendor: FOXCONN + dmi.board.version: 1.01 + dmi.chassis.asset.tag: 4CE02901DY + dmi.chassis.type: 3 + dmi.chassis.vendor: Hewlett-Packard + dmi.modalias: dmi:bvnAmericanMegatrendsInc.:bvr6.05:bd07/02/2010:svnHewlett-Packard:pnp6520y:pvr:rvnFOXCONN:rn2A92:rvr1.01:cvnHewlett-Packard:ct3:cvr: + dmi.product.name: p6520y + dmi.sys.vendor: Hewlett-Packard + glxinfo: Error: [Errno 2] No such file or directory + system: + distro: Ubuntu + codename: lucid + architecture: x86_64 + kernel: 2.6.32-34-generic ** Attachment added: "BootDmesg.txt" https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/770082/+attachment/2587470/+files/BootDmesg.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xf86-input-wacom in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/770082 Title: missing 10-wacom.conf To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xf86-input-wacom/+bug/770082/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
