You have been subscribed to a public bug: I'm using 32-bit Ubuntu karmic (9.10).
After a recent update and reboot, the "Enable touchpad" setting in System>>Preferences>>Mouse has no effect. The touchpad works even if that setting is enabled. I would like the touchpad to be disabled. I'm currently working around this issue by unloading the "psmouse" kernel module. ** Affects: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- "enable touchpad" setting has no effect in karmic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/404638 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-synaptics in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
