Public bug reported:

I activated the screensaver, and when I unlocked again, my mouse would
no longer work. No clicking, no motion.

I can get around this by using the WACOM stylus (it's a tablet). This
will allow me to move the cursor. However, still no mousepad.

It may be that typing caused Ubuntu to deactivate the mousepad, but it
failed to reactivate for some reason. I know laptops do this. Just
speculation, though.

May be dup of 816580.
