A correction: The freeze does happen on nVidia Quadro NVS 290 (NV86), but not on nVidia Quadro FX1500 (NV71GL). So it is a bug affecting only newer nVidia hardware. I do not know if it happens on Ubuntu 64 Bit, too. It should be patched as soon as possible.
