Public bug reported:

I have installed nvidia-current (reccomanded driver for my GPU) but since some
times at this part ubuntu fails to load nvidia module at boot, so I have to
reboot in recovery mode , choose failsafeX and reconfigure my video card.
After reconfiguration and X restart my graphical environment works well and
nvidia module is loaded (I can see it giving lsmod | grep nvidia).

So each time I have to boot my system in recovery mode to be able to use
nvidia driver....

My card is this :
00:0d.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation C61 [GeForce 6150SE
nForce 430] (rev a2)

ubuntu info :
Description: Ubuntu 11.04
Release: 11.04
nvidia-current 270.41.06-0ubuntu1

In attachment you can find the tar created by failsafeX. Tell me if you need
further informations.
