Public bug reported: Thinkpad X60 Tablet, running Ubuntu Natty and Arch Linux. On Ubuntu CellWriter (a handwriting recognition tool) has following problem: If Xinput is deactivated it stops accepting input after finishing the first stroke. If Xinput is activated it accepts several strokes for some seconds but then locks up completely not accepting any input at all with following error:
* Extended input device is generating invalid coordinates, disabled At the same time in Xorg.0.log several lines like the following appear: (WW) Serial Wacom Tablet stylus: bad data at 1 v=91 l=9 On Arch the same version of CellWriter works fine with Xinput both activated and deactivated. Xorg.0.log for both installs are attached. Note also the different versions of Xorg.
