Just to expand on details, this bug *is* happening on Dell Vostro 3550 with Ubuntu 11, but the correct shortcut key is Fn + F3. It works as photonic reported (notification popup is displayed correctly, but the touchpad behavior is not modified).
Fn+F6 controls the keyboard lights, and this shortcut works correctly. I am afraid the shortcut icons on this laptop can be misunderstood easily. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xkeyboard-config in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/753641 Title: [Natty] Disable-touchpad key function does not work on a Dell Vostro 3500 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xkeyboard-config/+bug/753641/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
