Hi Paolo, It just so happens we have the same graphics card, so we can compare and contrast ;). I can change resolution using
'xrandr --output LVDS --mode 1024x768' for example Can you try this and see if it works? I guess default should have some meaning and work to some extent (did it work for you in Natty?) so there might still be a bug here - but xrandr is not broken. --- Ubuntu Bug Squad volunteer triager http://wiki.ubuntu.com/BugSquad ** Changed in: fglrx-installer (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to fglrx-installer in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/811624 Title: impossible to change resolution with xrandr To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fglrx-installer/+bug/811624/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
