First of all, bisect003 crashes as well, with or without headers. I looks like I kinda jumped to a conclusion too fast, as I am unable to reproduce the no-header-boot link.
The reason why I was led to believe this is that I installed bisect001-image without headers and suddenly I could boot 2.6.39-1. I keep this image and also try it to check if something else has changed the boot behavior. I've now tried for an hour to reproduce the no- header-boot link with no luck, so I would regard my previous statement as false. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-ati in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/727620 Title: [Radeon HD 5650 and 5470] Kernel BUG during recovery boot and in normal boot (Hybrid graphics) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/727620/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
