Running 10.10 on a Toshiba Satellite L-35. I've set the touchpad
sensitivity as low as it will go, installed gpointing device and lowered
that as far as it will go. The pointer still scoots around especially if
my other finger is near the left click key. My computer is dual booted
with Windows 7 and there is no problem on that side, so I don't think
this is a hardware issue.
I saw this issue reported for an earlier version of Ubuntu, but it was
closed because the bug team could not get a hold of the original
poster.
