I've discovered more details for the bug. This time it showed itself when I Autohid the Panel. The next time I logged in it would not respond to any mouse click, left or right. The only way to do anything other than change the Desktop Background was to use another computer to search for the way to default the Panel to its original setting through the Terminal, which I was able to open from the keyboard shortcut. Before I fixed it I tried restarting the computer and after I pressed the button on the tower Ubuntu said the Panel was not responding, and I had to click "restart anyway" on that message.
Once the bug got to the state it had while it was in Ubuntu 10.10 my mouse would occasionally jump around the screen, but it may not do that any more? I'll have to wait a little while longer to see if that part is fixed. ** Attachment added: "This is what resuming looks like after I Suspend." https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-nouveau/+bug/748768/+attachment/2140105/+files/Supsend%26ResumeFail.jpg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-nouveau in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/748768 Title: Why does my mouse point to a place besides where the cursor is pointing? _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
