I think video tearing on YouTube is not a driver issue. It happens with all drivers. What I talked about is the issue with new intel driver (2.14.0) which is included in Ubunut and (as announced) supports SandyBridge integrated graphics. OpenGL and Video tear like hell in spite of vsync set to true.
