That's out of question, because I can't even try the new Ubuntu version due to Unity. This laptop only has 512 RAM and I'm using the Radeon open source driver (no other alternatives available). Ubuntu 11 doesn't work here and even Unity 2D is too heavy and slow for this laptop.
