I'm having the same problem with a GeForce 7300 LE graphics card. This is with both the 64 and 32bit versions of 11.04. Not only is Unity not working but also classic with desktop effects enabled, tty is also scrambled. I've tried the 173 Driver with the 32 bit of 11.04 version but it's just as bad
