On Xorg-edgers LiveCD Blender have the same behavior you describe. Menus don't render, but work (are invisibles).
Some artifacts appear on loading cursor, Vertical lines around them on a little box (I asume the refresh area of cursor). Like when I set i915.modeset=1 on Karmic boot. I don't think that are a %100 blender problem. Others programs have problems refreshing (Supertuxkart on Jaunty). PD: An easy way I found to make blender usable on Intel graphics is runing: LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 ./blender -- [i945] Displacement between Blender render window and content. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/400920 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
