[According to the upstream bug report, Intel is no longer doing
development support for this chip and is leaving it to the community to
implement the needed functionality.  Its unclear but sounds like kernel
kms/drm implementation work is needed, so moving this to the kernel as a
wishlist bug, although given the age of the chip it's probably a WONTFIX
here at the distro level, but I'll let the kernel team decide.]
