Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg
I am not sure where the problem is but I get random system freezes. Suddenly the screen goes black and I cannot do anything anymore. I know that it must be more than a visual bug, since when I watch a video or listen to music, the audio goes into hiccup and then disappears, as well. All that is left is to kill th epower and start the computer anew. I have so far been unable to isolate the problem. It seems to happen randomly, not connected to whethere I am using audio or video, flash or compiz. I am currently using Classic (no fx) with proprietary ATI drivers on a Thinkpad Edge. Any help appreciated, this is a major showstopper.
