Well done! With the latest set of fixes installed in the last hour using the dpkg load, this problem was eradicated. Even though I am the originator, I don't seem to have the power to close it, but if there is any more to do, it can surely be placed on the back burner. I am currently up with the new desktop, and all seems well so far.
I will continue testing and report anything that seems significant that I fun across.
