I have been testing and these are my findings: Mesa 7.9 classic - no kwin crashes Mesa 7.11-devel classic - no kwin crashes Mesa 7.10.1 gallium (natty default) - kwin crashes whenever I change window decoration, color scheme, turn on/off effect etc. Mesa 7.10.1 classic - no crashes. It seems that problem is in gallium driver.
