Mr. Bryce Harrington, following your request I downloaded again the ISO image as suggested. Unfortunately, the live CD does the same thing. After copying the files to the PC, the same Red window appears on a black screen with written in "OUT OF RANGE" on a Black screen. The Black screen stays on and then the Ubuntu anthem is herd and nothing also. I am attaching the requested Xorg.0.log as requested and later the dmesg of my 8.04 installation. Yours, Gaetano Arena
