Hi Bryce, With the latest updates (as of yesterday) The problems still exist.
When using extended monitors, in Classic Desktop (No effects) it works fine, when using Unity or Classic Desktop with effects the image in both monitors is just not right. I'm attaching a screen show that partially shows what's happening. In the left is what I do see in the laptop monitor. IN the right is what the screenshot shows of the Desktop but in reality I can only see the corner of the bar showed in the screenshot plust a little of the desktop (not all, though it is showed in the screenshot). Now as far as mirroring everything works it all cases. As far as turning the LCD of the laptop off and keeping the external monitor on, then you can either see flickering of colors or the screens remain black in both. (Regardless of whether it is Classic Desktop/(no effects)/Unity). I'll try to downgrade this weekend and will let you know as soon as I have results.
