Thanks Medor, this solved my problems as well! - First added the x-updates repo, downloaded some packages via the Update Manager (about 1MB). Didn't solve the problem. - Next, added the xorg-edgers repo, downloaded more packages (about 16 MB), problem solved.
I think it is possibe to only use the xorg-edgers repo, but please correct me if I'm mistaken. These are the newest X.org packages, the other repo contains slightly older but more stable packages. Finally Stellarium works again! Of course, skies are clouded at the moment ;). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-ati in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/481669 Title: Stellarium crashes on startup (ATI Radeon graphics card) _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
