Hi, I've created a program called `xcursorclamp' which works around this issue by automatically calculating which regions of the virtual screen are invisible and creating undecorated windows that cover these regions. Whenever the mouse cursor hits such a window, the program will clamp the cursor to the nearest visible region. It will adjust automatically when the invisible regions change as a result of the user changing the X monitor configuration while the program was running.
Of course xcursorclamp is free software (GPLv3+), see http://sourceforge.net/projects/xcursorclamp/ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/389519 Title: Cursor can move off-screen when dual-monitors do not form rectangular area _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
