Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati
Using maverick + xorg-edgers ppa on an HP Envy15 with 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: ATI Technologies Inc Broadway PRO [Mobility Radeon HD 5800 Series] [1002:68a1] after waking from suspend, my HDMI-plugged in external monitor was corrupted as shown in attached picture until reboot. unplugging/replugging did not help, nor did restarting X. laptop monitor is 1920x1080, external monitor is 1920x1200.
