Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics
Synaptics touchpad on a brand new install of k/ubuntu does not work, not
even from a live disk. Tested on both KDE and GNOME variants and came to
the conclusion that it probably is a xserver-xorg-input-synaptics bug.
tpconfig says that the touchpad is a synaptics touchpad.
Note : This is not my system, but rather a friends system. Im reporting
the bug on his behalf, will subscribe him to the bug tho.
