Hi Bryce, The screen never came back, i waited 2 hours just to see. I had to restart the computer, but i never tested the cntrl+alt+backspace because its off. It was blank on the laptop screen, no external monitors. This happens at unpredictable times, but within an hour or two it goes blank. The color of the screen is random too, most of the time blank, but a white and pink have shown up.
This isn't a firefox issue I haven't tested this in a Karmic install yet, because i can't even boot into gdm with the newest kernel.
