I could not use Unity although the ATI Drivers were installed. I had to
switch to the classic desktop session. Natty's classic desktop is still
very buggy so I'm now using Maverick.

I'm having a lot of problems to make my iMac working smoothly with
Ubuntu. I'm reporting each issue on launchpad and the apple user forum.

Here are the threads I've opened:

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1639269
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1639922

I'm still fighting with the mouse and keyboard issues.

The only difference I could appreciate with Natty was that the internal
speakers were almost working without any trick, see:

Hope it helps.
