I have reverted back to using two-finger emulation, because I just can't get used to two-finger scrolling with the fingers apart, that is really unconvenient (same thing as with Windows and official Synaptics driver).
synclient -m 100 reads as follows : two fingers apart : 2 fingers registered, width 5 two fingers joining : 1 finger registered, width 15 So I understand why two-finger scrolling won't work with the fingers joining : they register as one finger only. I just don't feel comfortable with the fingers apart, so I am going back to my emulation script. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-synaptics in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/308191 Title: Multitouch support not available for Synaptics touchpads v7.2 _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
