Same here. Dell Studio 1558-0005 with Mobility Radeon HD5470 and Broadcom BCM43224 with latest drivers (Catalyst 10.11 for graphics, and 5.60.246.6 for WiFi, both from respective vendors' websites). It seems to be something with power management - the computer always runs perfectly fine on AC. On battery, it is OK until I start something more power-demanding, like use an external hard drive or WiFi - then it freezes wihin just few minutes. Every version of 2.6.35 from the repos exhibit this behavior. I tried 2.6.36 from the kernel PPA and it's still the same. 2.6.32-22 from Lucid runs fine.
