Hi Geir, I am using the packages you placed on http://www.kvante.info/LP379157/. I downloaded them and install them using dpkg.
I did as you asked me: Installed 0ubuntu0sarvatt, rebooted (X don't work), installed 0ubuntu2gomyhr and then I tried to restart gdm and the result is (copied from console): $ /etc/init.d/gdm restart * Stopping GNOME Display Manager... [ OK ] * Starting GNOME Display Manager... [fail] And no Xorg.0.log is produced. Then I reboot the computer and this time doesn't hang up.
