Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
Karmic Alpha 2, x86_64, 2.6.30-9-generic, ThinkPad X61 Tablet with Intel 965GM graphics. Intermittently the screen is blank on resume from suspend. The password dialog cannot be seen. The cursor flickers on if the mouse is moved, or if a key is struck. I can switch to another vt with ctrl+alt+function and restart the X server to fix it. There are no useful entries in Xorg.0.log or in dmesg. Conceivably this bug could be in compiz, xscreensaver, or even the kernel. Lodging it against the driver since it seems most likely.
