Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
I was testing Uxa on my Macbook 4,1 Jaunty (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/UxaTesting) $ lspci -nn | grep VGA 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:2a02] (rev 03) Graphics quality: didn't notice much difference, possibly a bit sharper and snappier. Problem replicable every time: On resume from Suspend, I find I've been logged out of my user session. i.e. I log in, check I'm using Uxa not Exa ($ cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log|grep -i uxa), and then Suspend. On resume, I find myself faced with my usual login window. This is the same every time, whether I click System-Shutdown-Suspend, or just close my Macbook lid, which I've set to Suspend. This problem only happens when using Uxa, never with Exa.
