@koja, please file a new bug report for the source package xserver-xorg- video-ati (you're not having the -intel graphics hardware which this bug report is about). The best way to do this is with the command `ubuntu- bug -p xserver-xorg-video-ati`, since that will upload a lot of useful information automatically.
@Daniƫl: It looks like you have received some unfortunate bad treatment from Bryce's automatic scripts (they usually work quite well, but in this case they didn't see the lspci -vvnn output). Are you still having this problem with an updated Jaunty? If you have, could you please do the following: 1. Copy the attached xorg.conf to your /etc/X11 (or recreate it yourself, by running `dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg` and adding the ModeDebug line) 2. Log out and in again to restart xorg. 3. Upload the resulting /var/log/Xorg.0.log here. The ModeDebug option adds extra debug information to the log that may help identify the cause of the problems. I hope you haven't been put off by the robot replies you got before. ** Attachment added: "xorg.conf" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/26665729/xorg.conf -- [i865] Philips 107e screen not detected https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/242367 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
