Hi again, Nicklas. I just realized that my system is handling this differently from the way you described, and that my previous confirmation was probably a mistake. You said:
> If mouse keys accessibility featured is turned on for the keyboard, activating the numpad's regular behavior through num lock has no effect and the numpad simply becomes totally unusable for neither of the tasks of controlling the cursor nor writing. For me, the numpad continues to control the cursor just fine when Num Lock is on. It's true that there is no way make the numpad print numbers while Mouse Keys is enabled (even with Num Lock on), but this is likely an intended behavior rather than a bug. Would you please check that the numpad really becomes nonfunctional on your system when Num Lock and Mouse Keys are both enabled? When you report back, please also include the version of xorg that you're using. I'm setting the status of this bug to Incomplete in the meantime. ** Changed in: xorg (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- Numpad unusable even with numlock if mouse keys are enabled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/371282 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
