However, today we are happy to announce that they have replenished their stocks (this time with a new case, but the same chipset and software). * <https://www.fsf.org/blogs/licensing/back-in-stock-a-thinkpenguin-router-that-respects-your-freedom> ### Software Freedom Conservancy and Free Software Foundation announce ### copyleft.org *From November 7th* Software Freedom Conservancy and the Free Software Foundation (FSF) announce an ongoing public project that began in early 2014: Copyleft and the GNU General Public License: A Comprehensive Tutorial and Guide, and the publication of that project in its new home on the Internet at copyleft.org. This new site will not only provide a venue for those who constantly update and improve the Comprehensive Tutorial, but is also now home to a collaborative community to share and improve information about copyleft licenses, especially the GNU General Public License (GPL), and best compliance practices. * <https://www.fsf.org/news/software-freedom-conservancy-and-free-software-foundation-announce-copyleft.org> ### The sharks move in; lobbyists pushing forward on TPP agreements *From November 24th* The latest leaked draft of the TPP reveals that the countries involved in the negotiations are coming closer to acceptance of a whole host of problematic agreements. On October 16th, WikiLeaks released an updated draft of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) Strategic Partnership Agreement chapter on copyright, patent and other proprietary interests. A previous draft had been released last year. If you aren't familiar with TPP, it is a multinational trade-agreement that is being developed through a series of secret negotiations that when enacted will have a vast effect on civil liberties, including the ability of users all around the world to enjoy software freedom. * <https://www.fsf.org/blogs/licensing/the-sharks-move-in-lobbyists-pushing-forward-on-tpp-agreements> ### GNU Press has restocked! *From November 6th* GNU Press has restocked popular gear including shirts, hoodies, beanies, and GNU emblem brass pins. The conference, which this year was held from July 18 - 20, 2014 in Cambridge, England at the University of Cambridge, featured nearly thirty presentations on tools in the GNU toolchain including GCC, the GNU Compiler Collection, and GDB, the GNU Project Debugger. Each entry in the Directory contains a wealth of useful information, from basic category and descriptions to version control, IRC channels, documentation, and licensing. The Free Software Directory has been a great resource to software users over the past decade, but it needs your help staying up-to-date with new and exciting free software projects.
