Philip already indicated that we indeed do have a small gathering each
month at an Ubuntu Hour (thanks Philip!). Just as an update, the one
for February is coming up on Wednesday the 11th (more formal
announcement forthcoming):

This will be directly followed by a Debian Dinner with the folks from
Bay Area Debian (thanks for calling it, Michael Paoli!).

The venues are a short block away from each other, there's typically a
fair amount of attendee overlap between events.
