Hello, all my fellow California Ubuntu enthusiasts. :)
OCLUG has generously agreed to let me talk about Ubuntu 10.04 LTS at next week's meeting, and I would like to invite anyone interested in hearing the talk to come along and bring friends. I'd love to get some feedback as well, because I'll start fine-tuning the presentation after this talk so the LoCo can use it as a basis for presentations at other LUGs and events.
I plan to publish the slides, with notes on adapting it for more and less technical audiences on or shortly after the release of Ubuntu 10.04 LTS on April 29th, 2010.

We are lucky this month to welcome Nathan Haines from the Ubuntu California Local Community Team. The presentation will feature the upcoming 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) LTS release. Nathan will talk about what makes Ubuntu unique, describe the long-term 3-year-support offered for this release (5 years for servers!), some of the new features and answer any of your questions. I hope to see everyone there. _______________________________________________ OCLUG mailing list -- oc...@mailman.oclug.org http://mailman.oclug.org/mailman/listinfo/oclug
