Alright. So no response from Jono, nor Canonical, but I did speak with John Mark Walker, who's in charge of Ubucon at LinuxWorld. He still needs speakers, preferably someone with a "desktop-centric demo." So if you'd like to go in front of about 1100 Ubuntu users and speak about the desktop, now would be a great chance.
