I'm happy for whoever to be team lead / point of contact for the team. I'd rather we had _someone_ doing _something_ than nobody doing anything to be honest. That's not a dig pointed at you, because as the point of contact I know you've fielded questions and requests as above. It's more frustration that in the past it was decided we didn't need leadership but just a point of contact. I think that broke the team a bit. We need leadership, but what direction we go in and what we intend to do along the way is yet to be decided. > I would like to know if there is going to be a phone released in this > country with Ubuntu Touch on it (or Unity 8 if that is what it is going to > be known as). Given the two first partners are bq (Spain) and Meizu (China) I think it's safe to say they'll be available easily in those territories first. However, looking at the bq website I notice they ship to all manner of places. I don't know where Meizu ship to. > If there will be I think that could drum up some enthusiasm, > people will want to know if it is worth getting one, and if it is worth > skilling up to develop apps for it and integrate it with online stuff and > business systems. However we're really limited by what bq, Meizu and the subsequent partners do. It's their device, they choose where they sell them. I'm personally confident I'll be able to buy one online though without hassle.
