Looks like some other errors in your debian/control file layout.

canonical (heu) documentation for what should be in there.

I have to be honest I have no idea what is supposed to go in a debian control file. This one was nicked and modified off the internet and I can't find any real explaination of what is supposed to go in there. It's very surprising things are still like this. You're supposed to just know and get it right. The software gives you no leway. I'm sure once I've done it once it will all become very easy but this is a bit of a nightmare.
