Um... I don't really know about the internal dealings of Ubuntu and so on
and don't really understand your message.

I happen to know of a friend with the hardware, and I am fairly technically
competent with Linux and Ubuntu. I found the wiki page on how to install
and while it looks scary, it's not impossible.

I am more concerned about possibly leaving him with a non-working
machine, TBH.

My main questions:

* Is there a released image, or is it still pre-release?
* Do you want me to try to install it?
* Is it likely to work or not work?
* What info would you want from me regarding the process? Are emails
on this list enough, or is there an official way of filing bugs in Launchpad
or something? I have a Launchpad account but barely use it.
